Well, the title pretty much says it all. The base URL shows up correctly on all but the home page, where, mysterioulsy, the ’www’ part is missing.
Any ideas?

I’m investigating the possibility that this is something to do with the server - another account on the server is experiencing problems that just might be associated with whatever is causing my problems. I have no idea of how site_url works, so could someone please explain some of the technicalities of how Modx obtains the base URL so that I can pass this on to the web host.

I think I’ve resolved this. I only added site_url to my template after I had created my home page. I ended up with two sessions that persist across vistis. The different cookies would return different base URLs depending upon if I had visited the page before or after adding site_url. Deleting the cookies seems to have resolved the issue.
