When I was searching the forum e.g. for "AjaxUpload" there are zero results shown.

But there is a thread (as linked in the RTFM of AjaxUpload): https://forums.modx.com/thread/86791/support-comments-for-ajaxupload

Any idea why this threads/posts are not found through search-functionality in the forum?

The forum search is know to be highly unreliable and generally useless. Use google

site:forums.modx.com search term
