I've got a site setup on the MODX Cloud hosting environment using MODX 2.3.1 with the Collections plugin and the child resources are showing up under this parent resource (which has the Collections plugin installed).
I had originally set the Resource up as a standard Document type resource but then later changed it to a Collections. Every now and then the collections icon will show up, but most of the time it disappears from the tree just showing a standard folder icon. Is there a reason that would prevent the Collections plugin from hiding the child resources?

If you go into myPHPAdmin and the modx_site_content table, do the old pre-Collections child resources have show_in_tree set to 0?

@dan, thanks your reply. I should have clarified. I first created the Collections container as a resource with no children under it. Then I converted it a Collections with the plugin and THEN created child resources. There were no child resources before I turned the now-parent into a Collections. So those child resources that are showing now were now created when I converted the resource Document into a Collection.
Does that help clarify the issue any?

Which version of Collections are you using?
Can you try to switch the "Tips & Ideas" resource back to Document -> save -> refresh page -> switch to Collections -> save -> refresh?
Is there any errors in error log?

Well, this seems to only get worse. I upgraded to the newest version of Collections (2.2.1-pl) from the previous version (2.2.0) and now the Collections plugin is busted after the upgrade:

I tried switch back to Resource Type "Document" and then back to Resource Type and it's still busted. So now the plugin as kinda taken a step backwards with the newest version. Gonna roll it back.
