How to force all traffic to SSL?

How do I force all traffic to SSL for Evo, boith manager and front end??

If I put this in my .htaccess:

RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.domain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.domain.com/$1 [L,R=301]

I get a redirect loop. Is Evo trying to redirect something else???

There is a "server type" setting in the evo manager, but it doesn't appear to do anything?!

[there are also a half dozen alias domains that have to redirect to SSL as well]

I have Apache configured to use a directory for https and another directory for http.

In the http folder I have an .htacess file with a 301 redirect to the https folder

Redirect 301 / https://my-domain.org/

And, very very important, HTTP Strict Transport Security headers on the https folder.
