Answered Modx don´t take the url variable "&template=number" for setting default template

    Modx don´t take the url variable "&template=number" for setting default template, it always show the same template ( 2 ) when creating new resource, and breaking some functionality in extras like Collection, and in shortcut buttons in the dashboard.

    I check the default_template system setting, and it´s set to 1, check the Form Customization rules, no template set...

    What i´m missing?

      Setting the default_template System Setting should do it. Try deleting all the files in the core/cache directory.

        I think in some cases a child resource inherits the template of its parent; that might be your problem. More details would be helpful.

          As i expected was my mistake, default_template is ok, i desactivate every rule in form customization and the problem fix, so i started one by one activating each rule until i found one rule ( when adding news ) that sets the template number 2 by mistake.
