Manager main menu disappears!

Hi,

Anyone with any ideas...

When logged in as admin in the manager area, everytime i select a menu sub item such as ’Resources > Manage Resources’, it loads that page but the main menu at the top disappears.

I have been looking through the forum for help but no luck so far...
