    Hi,

I am completely new to modx and having no joy.

Am trying to rescue a site for a charity. I have moved the site to my dev server, imported the db, changed the db credentials in the config file , checked that the rewrite base is ok in htaccess and now I see this.

If I try to access www.site.com/ I see blank screen. If I try /manager then I get the login box but if I try to login it just displays the login page again. No errors show.

Is there any way I can see errors on the front end or anybody got any pointers how I can work out why the login is failing?

Any help really REALLY gratefully received.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Maybe try running the installer again, it could point out any issues with file permissions and other stuff.

Whenever you move a site you should re-run the installer in upgrade mode to rebuild the config file and reset the paths.

          Hi, thanks for the pointer.

After some messing around I’ve got it so I can login to the backend ok.
Having some other problems but these ones are solved.

          Thanks again.
