Which version of MODX are you on? Was there a recent migration/upgrade/something-else-like-that?

If they're not already off, turn off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings.
If you've upgraded, clear the browser cache and cookies and delete all files in the core/cache directory. A leftover cookie can cause anomalies in the Manager.

As you advised, I cleared cache and deleted all files in core/cache. Strange that I had created a Tv with listbox selected only to return to create another TV with listbox and dumb. Thank you as always.
