I have encountered this particular problem in migxmultilang, but I guess the root of the problem will be found in MIGX.

As far as I understand, redactor can be used with migx. The "migxredactor" custom TV as well as a migxredactor.class.php seem to cover this.

But after using several variations of techniques to display a redactor RTE inside the example configuration, I guess it is either broken in 2.3.1 or still work in progress.

Question: Can anyone confirm it works, and if the answer is yes, tell me how to do it?

    Cheers,

    pepebe

      I didn't had a redactor-license to test it within 2.3,
but since the backend is just MIGX, a inputTVtype of richtext or a inputTV, which is a richtext-TV should work, if redactor is your richtext-editor.

I can send you a licence to test it or credentials to my testpage on modxcloud.

PM me if you are interested.

        Regards,

P.S. I'll send you credentials for my testsite. Feel free to have a look whats going on. No hurry.

Nice. This is what I get:

Perhaps a browser problem. Whats your current browser?

Firefox, latest and IE11 are working

Google Chrome does not, I get an
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'doLayout' of undefined

its at line 294 in modx.grid.js:

Ext.getCmp('modx-content').doLayout(); /* Fix layout bug with absolute positioning */

Ok, thanks for looking this up. Never thought about a browser problem. Stupid me.

I'll look up whats going on here and share my results. Might take a few days, but this weekend might be possible.

                Thanks again,

I think, it should be checked, if Ext.getCmp('modx-content') isn't of type 'undefined'
before calling its doLayout() - function in modx.grid.js

in this case, Ext doesn't find an Ext-Component with id 'modx-content'

Thanks. I'll have a look and see what I can do. Sorry for blaming the problem on MIGX.

                    Cheers
