Hi,
I’ve searched the wiki and these forums and haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. I just installed ModX and it is running nicely. I cannot figure out how to access the forums to create topics, etc, however. Also, I cannot figure out how to make users have to validate their email to be able to login. Both of these things are done on this site.
So my questions are:
1) How do I set up my forum?
2) How do I make users have to validate their email like on here?
Thanks!
None of you guys can figure it out either? Just occurred to me that this forum is SMF - so apparently such a function isn’t even available in ModX. Hmm. Is there a "bridge" you guys used, then, to brand it the same?
I want the usability of modx with forums, blast it! What’s the most efficient, easiest solution?
21 views and NO ONE knows the answer? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Yes, I’m impatient, was trying to get my site running.
