friendly urls and permanent redirect to use only www.

    rewritecond %{http_host} ^myurl.com [nc]
    rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.myurl.com/$1 [r=301,nc]

    added the above to

    get all my urls to redirect to use the www. prefix but its not working with the default modx rewrite rules sad

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f [nc]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d [nc]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

    any way around it?

      Is what I have to redirect everything to www.

        no luck with using my friendly urls with this sad

        www. redirect is fine but other links go to index.php?q=aliasname instead of my friendly url
