When I try to duplicate a document I get this message :
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ’2’ at line 1 »
SQL: SELECT document_group FROM document=2
Looks like its missing the WHERE clause
Any body is aware of this bug and how to solve it?
thanks for your help

Note : moved this post in general support as it had nothing to do in 0.9.5 and earlier forums...
Before calling this a bug you should provide more details, like which version of MySQL are you running ?
Also, please describe more precisely what actions you took and when did you get that error (an URL might help too).
Given the error message I can already say it’s not in the context of the manager, which means you don’t get the error message when duplicating the document but when trying to access the duplicated document from the frontend maybe ?
(I don’t think language used as anything to do with the issue by the way)

MODx est l'outil id
MySQL version 4.0.13-nt
Modx version 9.6.1p2 version code rev 3281
Here what I do:
- Right click on a document and click "duplicate"
- Popup asking "Do you really whant to duplicate this document..."
- click yes
- Error message show in the main window
- If i refresh the page (F5) with this error message in the main window, it will duplicate the document again, showing the error message again.
- I need to click anywhere to remove the error message from the main window.. then... I can refresh...
- After the refresh, the leftnav tree and the duplicated file shows up.... it’s been duplicated.
My problem is when I try to duplicate my "fr" folder (and all its childrens) to rename it "en". I tought it would also duplicated all the "fr" children pages. So, on top of that error message, the childrens are not duplicated. I guess both problem are related.
If i edit my "fr" page and click "duplicate" from the top menu I get the exact same result.
I just read on the wiki that it is suggested to use mysql v. 4.1.x or newer... I guess that’s it?
If so, I’ll talk to the hosting company
