WebLogin redirect to originating page?

Is there a way to achieve this?
Some docs are restricted, click on the link to one and if you’re logged in you get access, if not you’re taken to a registration/log in page - Done
After you log in, be taken back to the original page with the link to the restricted doc, or even better straight to the restricted doc.
The client doesn’t want a log in box on all the pages, just one central point for logging in.
The WebLogin &loginhomeid=`62` parameter won’t work unless I can somehow replace the fixed docid dynamically with the originating page id.
Any pointers welcome!
