NewBEEE - Needs some StartUp Help -

Aloha Forum,

I am very new to PHP, SQL & Co and searching for some orientation in the Installation.
Some Data:

My Website is hosted with GoDaddy, Linux PHP

Some Questions:

Figured this one Out, so sorry dont bother... After I figured Point 1. it out Modx is very easy so far....

DONT BOTHER THIS ONE: 1. I cant figure out how to connect my SQL with Modx in the Installation.
I get: Connection to host: passed... Checking database: failed - could not select database modx_start!
Where look to fix this, in my PHP Admin from the Hostingserver ??

2. which version of PHP & sql should I run, I can Choose between 4.01 or Upgrade to 5

yeah I figured it out and Modx is running fine, now I am in a state of learning what i need in the beginning.

I created a sql database over the Admnin tools of GoDaddy, I mixes the Label with Name for the Database, so it could not select it.
After getting my Css design up, I experimenting with chunks and snippets...
