    huh

    hi guys...

I am very new to Modx, but not the world of CMS.

I really like this CMS, cause in other words, is very simple... but I was trying to configure the Contact Form, and everything is ok with the chunks, and making some testing, I have found that I can’t receive any email when filling up the form, the system seems to send the info, but i don’t receive anything.. I have tried with different email and all, but no success, please, if any one knows about this i will appreciate a lot.. this is my url http://www.creativemood.co.in/modx/modx-0961p1/index.php?id=47

    Thx a lot.

What you describe is often caused by the host having the php mail() function turned off.

If you’re using SPForm as a contact form, for example, and you see the "thank you" page, the email has been "sent" successfully as far as SPForm and MODx are concerned. If it doesn’t reach its destination, it’s usually because the web host host didn’t send it on.

SPForm has an alternate method that uses SMTP instead of mail() that will work without using the PHP mail() function. I think eForm has this option as well.
