I'm Modx Revolution for a multi-site setup, a back-end CMS on one sever, a front-end context on another server, and another front-end context on another server. The site uses a separate Memcache server for caching.

The CMS and one of the front-ends same the same Memcache buckets, however, the other front-end has entirely different Memcache buckets, with completely different port numbers. Is it possible to override the system settings for the Memcache port numbers on a context level? Will that work?

    Many thanks...

You will need to have a centralized set of buckets for system and context caches themselves, but if you wanted to customize specific partitions beyond that, it should work. I've never attempted such a configuration, so the full limitations are not really known until you try it.
