SEO Page Title question

I installed SEO Pro and it reports in the "What does it look like in Google" field that all my pages have

"| MODX Revolution" appended to the page title.

Where is this coming from? Doesn't Google just pull the page title from the Long Title field? How does ModX append to it? Or is SEO Pro wrong about this?

Google will only use the long title if you specify in the template:



Google will pull whatever you specify in the title metatag, just like any standard html page.

Check that you have the site name set in the system settings. It's MODX Revolution by default.

Look for this tag in your template:



As AMDbuilder suggests, you'll want to modify that System Setting and set it to the actual site name, but you might also want to remove that tag from the template if you don't want Google to see it on every page.
