MODX and Web newbie, need Hosting setup help

I am a MODX and Website newbie. i wanted to find out if there is anyone around here from Australia? i need someone to assist with a wrapBootStrap template setup at NetRegistry. Happy to pay for services. I just need to get the template up and I will do the rest. I would be grateful if someone could help. thanks

You have MODX installed and working correctly?

As noted, I dont have anything as yet. I have the template, and I have the hosting I have paid for, but I dont know how to get it up there, etc.

Ok. To begin with, log in to your hosting CPanel. Familiarize yourself with it.

You will be concerned with the File Manager and the Database Manager.

Is the template you purchased a MODX template?

Can you link us to the place where you bought the template? If it is a MODX template it should be fairly easy to do but if not, will require some porting.

Some hosts will pre-install MODX for you so ask your provider if they offer such an option (Ex. http://www.arvixe.com/modx_hosting - or via Softaculous).

Do a local search. There are people out there who can get you up and running quickly. In your case, I would say look locally so you can get someone who can work with you closely.

Find a pro to help you, if you can establish a level of trust the relationship can go on for years.

I have done a local search and there is NO one in Sydney. The only offerings are at Enterprise level. They will not do anything in a Ad-hoc sense.
I also would like it hosted in Australia, not the US.

It would probably be best if you linked us to the template. If I recall correctly, WrapBootstrap only seems standard themes and admin themes but nothing designed specifically for MODX so you will be looking for a dev to port it.

Are you looking to deal with a single company/individual to handle both the theme and hosting or are you willing to separate these?

Going locally might prove more costly than finding someone just as good online, just, you need to do the search .
