Loading Chunks so they do Not Reload with Page Request

I am working on a site that has a Flash audio player. Everytime I navigate to a new page the player starts over.

This is my setup:
Basically 3 columns - Left that is a left content Chunk, main content Chunk and a right content chunk.
The left content Chunk contains the player which is actually a Chunk - {{music_player}}

Can (will) anyone help point me in the right direction to get the left content Chunk to stay in memory, so the player doesn’t start over, or any solution that might work.
