    Hi all,
I’m trying to implement mootools nice looking tips from their Demo > http://demos.mootools.net/Tips

    but it ain’t working smiley
I know quickedit uses the mootools lib as well and wanted to ask if there is something I need to know before I can use mootool since adding their full lib or just the needed parts will conflict with Quickedit and therefore won’t work.
or am I shopping at the wrong place and simply doesn’t do it right smiley ?

seems like I can do many nice tweaks using mootools and would love if anyone can shade some light on me.

      Hi Simbad

Take cares that QuickEdit uses Mootools 1.0 and the current version is 1.11 and 1.2 is coming soon (1.2beta 2 at this moment). So you could have some conflicts.

      The demo tips uses :
      1. Native/Element.js#$$
      2. Plugins/Tips.js#Tips
      3. Effects/Fx-Style.js#Fx.Style
      4. Effects/Fx-Style.js#Fx.Style.start

Uses http://icebeat.bitacoras.com/mootools/packito/ to download the minimal 1.11 library instead to load the complete mootools package.

I have already used Fx->Style and $$, but never Plugins/Tips

Under FF and Firebug what are your error message ?
Let me know. I am interesting by the result too

        thanks coroico for the reply.

I can’t share firebug errors yet as its on a sandbox @home. will dig it tonight and will post what I have.
I didn’t download the whole package, I just took each one of these
        1. Native/Element.js#$$
        2. Plugins/Tips.js#Tips
        3. Effects/Fx-Style.js#Fx.Style
        4. Effects/Fx-Style.js#Fx.Style.start

to the download page and got everything it choose for me when I checked the corresponding boxes.
seems like the generated list of the url you gave me up there, but I could be wrong.

when it didn’t work my first thinking was ’lets blame Quickedit’ smiley
I’ll have to check it again deeper.
