How do I include a php file in a document

I did find an older post that said create a tv and use eval but it didnt work.

Anyone know how do to do this?

put into a snippet and call it in the page you want.

Or, easier on the cache file, put the php in a file, and in your snippet just have a line to include() the file.

Is that put the php in a modx file, inside modx? or a non modx file?

In a .php file. Make a new folder in the assets/snippets folder, name it whatever you like. Create a file with the php code, put it in the new folder. In the MODx manager, create a new snippet (Resources -> Manage Resources, the Snippets tag. Put

in the snippet Wherever you want the php output to appear, either in your template or the content of a page, put [[snippetname]].
