Not exactly sure how to ask this question but here it goes…
Is it possible to show/hide content based on the URL used to access a site?
For example: Let’s say I have www.umbrellasite.com (for example purposes only, not my site). As its name implies it is as an umbrella/portal for three related yet independent entities. Now due to some political issues I am required to also create an independent site for Entity#3.
I do not want to have to maintain two separate sites. What I would like to be able to do is have the independent site www.umbrellasite.com and www.entity#3.com pull from the exact same data, layout etc… but when someone accesses www.entity#3.com they only get information related to Entity#3.
Does that make any sense? Is it possible with MODx? If not with MODx does anyone know of any CMS that might make this scenario possible?
