I have a strainge problem.
When I visit my evoluton website the first time all is ok, when I revisit or refresh that page it goes blank.
Clear cache solves it for 1 time but then the page goed blank again.
It must be server related, does anyone knows what server setting gives this issue?

It seems it has to do with phx:phpthumb.
I haven't solved it yet thow, I really need phpthumb to crop my images.

Try waiting for just a minute or two and see (without clearing or deleting the core >cache) and see if the page reappears. Had a similar issue (with Revolution) with a site at goDaddy and MODx was apparently making too many requests, causing the server to temporarily block my IP. In my case, it had more to do with me, my IP and the fact that I was in the Manager trying to work on the site. goDaddy claims to have whitelisted my IP, though I cannot really confirm that they actually did, but my site had not had any additional blank screen incidents.
In short, could be that MODx is making too many requests in to short of a time period, and thus getting temporarily blocked.
Could have to do with the code, phpthumb, or serving settings not allowing enough connections, or just being overloaded with other sites in general.
Try reviewing server error logs (you many need to enable that feature depending on your hosting), and see if there are any details revealed there that may help isolate the issue.
Its not reappearing
This site still has an older version (allot hardcoded) and will make a copy, upgrade to 1.0.14 with phpthumb intergraded. Think this will fix the problem. Just takes allot of work

I had exactly that problem with getParent snippet after I install PHX...
was just imcompatibility.
so I change the getParent for ParentParent and that was all.
check if you have similar snippets or disable the PHX and check what might cause the problem!

It seems it works now, it was a server problem.
Dunno yet what setting is changed by the host.
Thanks for the reply's !
