Take a look at the SPForm. It uses a number of anti-spam measures.

Well the thing is our forms are more than just an email contact form. Although we do utilize email contact forms, we also have forms that are brochure request forms that collect varied amounts of data relating to a users interest in the product or service our clients offer. All data is stored to a database and a notification email is sent out to the client of the submission and corresponding data.

Spammers and/or robots are not even looking at the page, they are just injecting data automatically and posting. I need to use captcha on these forms - I can’t use the different snippets or built in forms from modx. All our forms are displayed via php includes and currently have a javascript validation of required fields.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to utilize the built-in captcha on custom forms? If so, how do you do it.

I meant, look at its code. eForm also uses veriword captcha; you can examine its code to see how it does it.

I’ve used eForm on a number of sites to do pretty much what you have described.

Oh sorry I misunderstood what you meant to do. I’ll take a look at the code for the snippets and see if I can figure it out. I may post for help if I run into trouble.

            Thanks
