I haven’t exactly gotten to the "write documentation" part of this snippet yet, but here’s the gist of things:
If you want a previous link, put a [+prevPh+] placeholder in your document/template where you want it to show up. You don’t need to put it in a link or anything as it will create that for you. If there is no previous page, then just the word "Previous" (by default) will show up as text only. You can change this to another word, or no word at all with the prevLinkOff snippet parameter. If you don’t like "Previous" as the link text, you can pass in the parameter for prevLinkOn. In my example, I used an image rather than text (note "=" in the image tag needs to be replaced with ||).
Like wise for next link.
Placeholder: [+nextPh+]
Link text: nextLinkOn, nextLinkOff
If you don’t want the number line, then just don’t bother creating a placeholder for it. If you DO want a number line, create a [+numberLinePh+] placeholder and put it where you want. You can specify what you want between the links with the numberLineSeparator parameter, like a space or hyphen or something.
Then call the snippet somewhere with the appropriate parameters included. They’re all pretty well spelled out in the snippet code.
You need to define a parent folder. So at a minimum, your snippet call would look like:
[[FolderPagesNav? &parentFolder=`123`]]
