Fatal error: Class 'PDO' ....xpdo/xpdo.class.php on line 3041 after website transfer

I am currently trying to transfer a new website to the live server and have encountered the following error message when trying to access the web context. The manager seems to work but I am unable to find a way to resolve the below error.

Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/[replace with client name]/public_html/core/xpdo/xpdo.class.php on line 3041.

I have already tried to reinstall MODX and run setup. I have also checked all cong settings as per guide http://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/administering-your-site/moving-your-site-to-a-new-server.

Any help would be gratefully received

Were you able to connect to the database during setup? If not the database credentials in the core/config/config.inc.php file may be incorrect.

Another possibility is that the PDO extensions are not be enabled on the server, though I think Setup will usually report that.

To check, you can put a file called info.php at the root of the site with this content:



Then, visit that page at http:yoursite.com/info.php

Don't forget to delete that file when you're finished -- TMI for hackers.

There was an issue with an customised php.ini file override located in the root. The server support were really helpful at identifying the issue, I use clook.net (hope it's ok to add their name).

I've used them, they're good.

I'm glad you got it sorted. I wonder if just adding the lines that enable PDO to the php.ini might have done the trick.
