    Hey,

my web users have to write messages to each other via WYSIWYG editor, a simple issue every social network has. Is there a way to do this with the modx api or do I have to organize the database entries in ’user_messages’ myself?

    greetings

A consistent API for working with all data objects within the MODx core is coming in future releases. For the 0.9.6.x releases, you’ll need to manage the database entries yourself.

I am away from home over a few days, so that I cannot test it but I’ve found a function called "sendAlert". This one should send a message to a user. Isn’t there also an opposite function called "getAlert"?
