Perfect! As with all things MODX, there's a million different ways you can do the same thing. That's just the best approach we have found to optimize the site for fast loading since it caches the information in a placeholder format. We used getResources for a long time to do the same thing, but it's obviously a heavier plugin that's great for different purposes, but tends to not be as fast as the placeholder extra.
