Very very long threads

Think we should have a modified workflow for threads growing wild (e.g. the TinyMCE thread, the WebLoginPE or the AjaxSearch (hard to top with 38 pages )). In fact for some problems I must read the whole thread with issues for older versions up to the last version of a snippet/plugin/module.
Especially for snippets/plugins/modules with versioning I propose to split (repository support) threads dependent on the version number of this element. What do you think about? The search function isn’t helpful anytime because it provides many results of SVN.

I think this is a very valid point that should be addressed.
