I want to store my newsletter-resources in a container. Is there a setting to define a default template for all new created resources inside that container?

[e] Ok as far as I don't create the resource via "Quick Create" (I hope it's called so in english version) it takes the Template of the container.
What version of MODX are you using?

Are you using the InheritTemplate extra? If not, you might give it a try:
