I recently experienced a weird problem. Everything was OK but now when I edit any and only! chunks my polish characters changes into ?? what can be wrong? Any ideas? Articles content is all right ...

Do you use the Rich Text Editors (TinyMCE/FCK...) for your content ?
That would explain why only chunk have issue, since RTEs convert accented characters in HTML entities...
Now about your polish characters changed into [tt]??[/tt] several causes are possible :
Did you check the character encoding in the manager’s configuration ?
Did you check that your config.inc.php file has the proper value for $database_connection_charset ?

MODx est l'outil id
I have UTF8 set in manager configuration
In config.inc.php I have latin2
I don’t use any rich text editor for my content

Ok then there is something else going on... character issues can be complex sometimes
It seems to me there is something wrong happening upon content saving, now why doesn’t it affect content and why does it affect chunk, I don’t know
You’ll need some heavier technical firepower, it’s beyond my skill scope here...

Take a look at what’s in the database. Make sure your character sets all match up, MODx, config.inc.php settings, and database settings.
