Hello,
my client wants to offer images for the press to download. I first took FileDownload Snippet which is really straigt forward, but they want to have preview images. The images are uploaded as tif or eps, the preview should generate as jpg.
I know there are many types of image galleries around which might be capable of this. May be someone can give me a shortcut to a good looking and working solution?

Generating Previews from EPS or TIFF Files can’t be done with the GD Library that comes with most PHP installations. You’ll need ImageMagick installed on your Server. If IM is installed, i guess the fastest way to reach your goal would be to rewrite parts of the FileDownload Snippet to fit your needs?
Thanks, I will have to check if ImageMagick is available from their provider - I think it’s not.
The other way w/o FileDownload is to manually make a standard link (and preview image manually before) to a zip File. This should work for press people too, there are not too much files/images.
