blank screen during install "syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE"

Hi All,
I get a blank page during setup specifically at at mysite.com/subfolder/setup/index.php?action=options.

Any ideas whats causing the blank screen please? Moving website to subfolder. Tried with htaccess enabled and disabled, also emptied core/cache folder

It sounds like there might be some file corruption, can you upload the files again?

if it help others ... i reuploaded again using binary only (not auto) in filezilla. That worked
