How do you get Wayfinder and/or pdoMenu to create a two-line navigation item?

I have a site I'm wanting to convert to MODx, and long ago I created custom image navigation buttons so each button could have two lines of text—each line with differently styling. I'm comfortable I think writing the css for styling the items, but unsure of how to get Wayfinder to properly insert the code. I've been reviewing the MODx main nav, which is very close to what I built several years ago using images. Can I actually just type the span tags in the resources Menu Title field?

Get In Touch with Jon

Would I just insert "<span>CONTACT</span> Get In Touch with Jon" in the Menu Title field?

Yes, you can use HTML tags and even MODX tags in the resource fields.

Or you could use a different field, even a TV, and use both MODX tags in the linktext area of the rowTpl chunk instead of [[+wf.linktext]].

Thanks Susan. I'll try putting the code in the field for now. Certainly with a TV, I could put a description / how-to for the client to understand. This particular site I manage anyway. Making the site MODx for easier management. Updating the static html site has finally gotten to me
