Hi all,
I'm still in the process of getting comfortable with Modx coding, and I recently encountered a piece I didn't know. Basically, it's a small vertical line that appears within a line of code. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing, with examples on lines 4, 13, and 16.
What are these and how are they used?

Those are being used as separators between items in a menu, often seen in page footers.

Hello Laurak,
You are thinking too hard, those are just vertical lines (bars if you will). They are on the \ key if you would like to use them. They have no code related purpose in this context.
Ah, good. My initial thought was that it was something like this, but I wanted to verify and couldn't find it referenced anywhere. Thanks!
