    Dear reader(s),

I would appreciate if someone could help me with a problem smiley
( see attachment for details )

When logged into Manager Revolution 2.2.14-pl(traditional)it shows only 10% of the page content.
(My website builder does not have this problem, and all works fine on his system)

    - I first was working on a oldie XP computer(with wire) and could only use a few options within the manager.
    - Now I'm working on a rather new laptop(wireless)and the problem is much bigger.
    - Everything is up to date (system, browser)and AVG(free edition) showed no bugs.

Webbrowser: Internet Explorer 11 en Google Chrome
    Besturingssysteem: Windows 7 SP1
    MODX versie: Revolution 2.2.14-pl (traditional)

    Best regards,

    Marcel

It's strange that your web developer doesn't have this problem too.

Chrome or explorer 11 don't have problems with modx 2.2.14 (at least in my experience), could you try on a third computer?
Just to be sure that it depends on your pc...

it might help if you would deactivate js and css compression. Search it via System Settings and if this is not possible try to search it via phpmyadmin.
          Search for : compress_css
          and: compress_js
          in the system_settings

          Hope this helps.

            Thanks for your reply tillilab

Sorry,..i don't have a third computer ( happy I could arrange this new laptop smiley and hoped this would solve it all )

What I can tell is that on the old XP computer(wired) there was a bug(and was fixed)...but even then I could manage some MODX items.
Some later the XP lost contact with internet while running a windows Fixit program but in the middle of this fix the power of our home went down > and lost our internet connection
( windows popup showed problem > can not open the location > map > Program files/online services )

I was just a few day's working on my website...and we became a new router(wifi)from our provider.
Don't know exactly were it went wrong...but could it be a system versus router problem.
( I don't use the XP on the internet anymore and took out the cable to avoid any conflicts )

Dear Marcel, that's really a hard fight against technology! smiley

Have you tried cleaning the cache on the new computer's browser?

You could also forward the suggestion of @flanger to your web developer.

Hi flanger, thanks for the reply

Must I do this within my manager program
Or ?....within the developer program ( this is not a area I can manage / just my developer )

                * before I placed my question I searched within the forum...but could not find
I did send a few "possibilities" i came across to my developer ( change settings js and css was one of them.
Till now got no reply from developer yet.

                    Hi friends,

My developer has followed the suggested actions ( _js and _css plus cleaning cache )
To be sure, I cleaned my computer before trying to log in.
                    Even used Ccleaner full mode.
Result > no (workable)changes in both browsers.

In Google Chrome my eye fell on a different "frame build up" in te right upper corner ( see attachment )

It sounds like you are being affected by the compress_css/js problem as your developer suggested. The process to fix that issue is noted here: http://rtfm.modx.com/revolution/2.x/getting-started/installation/troubleshooting-installation#TroubleshootingInstallation-TheManagerdisplaysasplaintext%2CManagerpartsaremissing%2CorthereareJavaScript400ErrorsintheManager

Keep in mind this is all server focused, so you need to delete the MODX Cache, and not the cache on your computer smiley
