My configuration of MODx is using a single MySQL dbase over several sites.
(OK, don’t ask why - it has to do with the way the host charges!)

I notice. however, that Reports>System Info and also Tools>Backup show all the database names (not just those with the site prefix) so it reveals too much data.

Does anyone have a quick solution to restricting this info, or removing these options from the site users so they can’t see the other tables.

Any suggestions (apart from changing host) welcome!

Right quick, I’d say add $modx-config[’site_prefix’] to the queries in the action files for those; or use $modx->getFullTableName(’table_name’). I’d have to take a look at the files themselves to be more specific, if you have trouble with this idea.

Each site is on a separate domain and a separate install, but they all talk to the same MySQL Dbase on a different server.

Thanks for the suggestion sottwell, I’ll have a look at that and see how far I get (bit clueless with PHP but I’ll have a play)

        Thanks
