Hi,
Is it possible to cache all the resources in 1 go or do I have to visit each page and refresh the page for each one to get created in the cache folder? How long are resources cached and where can I set the interval?

The pages are cached on initial visit and stored until you clear the site cache (which occurs on page creation/edits).
You can control the cache some from the system settings.
You could make a list of your url's and run:
http://www.tomanthony.co.uk/tools/bulk-http-header-compare/
or something similar.
This will visit all resources for you, but it takes some time and can be a little cranky at times:
http://modx.com/extras/package/refreshcache
