I have to edit the config file for AjaxSearch to work.
Because i have this error:
AjaxSearch: database_connection_charset is null. Check your config file
The fix is that i add the charset in the config file(config.inc.php) located at:
manager/includes/
But i cant edit it, cant even open it.
I change the read rights, but it doesnt save my selections.
Anybody know what is going on?
Downloading via FTP - changing/editing - uploading via FTP MUST work. No other way.
If php is in safe-mode permissions may not behave the way you expect since it looks for document ownership. If this is the case you may be able to edit with a ’document manager’ in the hosting control panel.
When in safe-mode you cannot replace or edit the file unless you are the owner, if MODx created the config (as is almost always the case) it is owned by the server rather than by your user.
