@Mark Hamstra, thanks for the hard work. This was one of the most requested fixes for MODX 2.3.

Processor not found: update
Showing this error while updating Article and also unnecessary leave page dialog box.
I was able to update to Articles fine, create a new Article fine, but getting the processor not found error when saving an existing Article.

Speaking as a designer that moved from Evo to Revo because of Articles, I'm very relieved this is going to be supported. Collections might be great but if I want a fully functioning blog in next to no time, why would I want to use that? I agree that Articles has some short-comings but why not tackle those rather than go back to a system where we have to plaster things together (as in the blog system in Evo) to get a working blog? I do understand that Collections and similar might offer more flexibility in certain situations but for 99% of installations I would imagine Articles will suit. To be honest if I really had to start building a blog from scratch again I'd go back to Evo.
I'm immensely grateful for all the work that developers have put in to Modx - it is just fantastic. I wish there were more packages that are as slick as Articles - it saddens me sometimes when we get so close to something being perfect in Modx and then people start to talk about killing it off.
I just want to underline that I'm talking as a designer and I'm very enthusiastic about Modx and continue to be thankful, excited and amazed by the help of the community and those involved in developing and supporting extras.
I think ChrisAndy makes a great point about the convenience of Articles as opposed to having to stitch a few Extras together.
One of my clients has a site consisting almost exclusively of 7-15 Blogs based on Articles. He loves that he can spin out a blog himself and has simple instructions on setting his template etc. Telling him that the core of his whole business is now "out of date" etc is not an option nor is rebuilding all the other client sites we have that use Articles.
I'd love to see some more focus on Articles to bring it up to scratch or whatever needs doing to make it a viable blogging solution once again. I bought into the whole "it's a word-press killer" propaganda and just want a decent blogging solution clients can use easily with the missing features such as categories and tags.
