I'm building a site which requires a location to be chosen, the location is stored in a cookie and some different resources (including the homepage) will need to be have specific content depending on this. Some of the resources will be shared. The domain will always be the same.
What's the best way to set this up? I thought maybe of creating several location contexts and putting the shared content in the default context. Would this work if all the contexts use the same domain or is there a better way to do it?
I think I'm probably looking for a solution similar to making multi language sites.
Contexts introduce various complexities and I like to avoid them whenever possible. I'm not sure I understand you, but offhand, it doesn't sound like you need contexts. Maybe just an easy snippet that pulls in different chunks based on the location.
Contexts would make more sense if most of the pages themselves had a specific location, but if you're just adjusting page content by location and they can use the same Template, I don't think you need contexts.
It would help to know a little more about what you're doing. For example:
Are the users always logged in?
Does their location change often?
