how to restrict role access to specific module?

how is it possible to restrict access to a specific module for a certain user/role?

Hi

Go to "Manage Module", click the Module you like to restrict, scroll down and select the groups that are allowed to access the module.
I guess that’s what you wanted to do. Right?

will the module menu-tab also be invisible for that group then?

Not if you want them to be able to run modules, such as QuickEdit. They will still see the modules, but won’t be able to do anything with them.
