In IE7 & FF, typing in any url results in a redirect to the main page. All IE history/caches have been cleared.
With FURLS on or off.
It does not occur in Firefox, instead the correct page is displayed.
IE 7 will navigate to the manager however, and if a document is previewed, it displays properly.
Its a Hostgator shared server, the .htaccess is default MODx.
W3C Validator returns a 404.
Thank you..
Can you post a URL so we can review it?
Yes. The site is still being built, so it is very basic at the moment.
In the top left corner, there is a link which leads to the second page (id=2).
After logging out/clearing cache, it now appears it also does not work in ff.
In Firefox I’m also not able to go to the second page. So that makes me think that the page is just unpublished and your error page is set to your home page. When you are logged into the MODx Manager in a tab of a browser, you can view unpublished documents in other tabs (or in the Manager preview panes).
Hey don’t beat yourself up. This is a very common thing for people to stumble over when they start using MODx. Hopefully your post will save someone else a lot of effort and time trying to figure it out.
