    Hi,

does anyone have positive experience with how to let users subscribe to a blog, and let modx send a newsletter automatically every week? or a notification of a new post?

Is there a way to set modx to use the mailchimp account to do this?
I am using evolution because of RTL (hebrew) support.

I read about virtunewsletter and TEMailer but reviews were old and not positive.

    Thank you.

Do you mean that you want the Manager to be in Hebrew? Revolution certainly supports rte.

        Hi,
Thank you for the quick reply!
The manager can be in english, even preferable.

I was in the understanding that RTL support for the websites generated is not perfect in revolution, but it may be already an outdated recommendation. I will create my new website in revolution and test it.

Is there a good newsletter manager for revolution?

        Thank you smiley

You can use the modMailChimp extra http://modx.com/extras/package/modmailchimp to let users subscribe to Mailchimp over your Site.

EmailResource will send a web page via email but you do it manually.

Notify (with Subscribe) will let you send manual notifications and you can create a Tpl chunk to fill it with the NewsLetter content if you like. That has the advantage of using the MailChimp offshoot Mandrill (up to 12,000 emails per month free) -- not an option with EmailResource.

If you're rolling your own, you might also want to look at the MandrilX class. It's fairly easy to use.
