    Guys I am tearing my hair out trying to figure out why I can only see [[+latest_posts]] in an article page and not a document.

    In my template which I am using for both Articles and Documents I have very simply:
    <div class="news right">
    	<h2>News</h2>
    	[[+latest_posts]]
    </div>

    I thought it may be a level issue, but even sub-level documents do not show anything under the News header. Only when I go to an Article Container page or an Article itself does this actually work. Just can't understand what changes as I'm using the same template. Am I missing a snippet which automatically gets put into Article content?

    Any help would be appreciated.

      this placeholder is set by the ArticlesContainer - class

      https://github.com/modxcms/Articles/blob/develop/core/components/articles/model/articles/articlescontainer.class.php#L436

      you will need to add a getResources - snippet - tag like that to your normal resource to get the latest posts.
