Answered Simple db-query on custom table

Is there a way to make a very simple query on an existing custom table in modx to get all entries where col = x? I'm thinking of the submissions table in MXFormBuilder. So models etc already exists.

I've spent all day trying to figure out how to do it. Maybe xPDO is really simple if you're a hacker but for me its really confusing and seems to need a lot of code just to make a simple query.

You need to know the class name of the object(s) you're trying to get and you probably need to load the class file for that object.
