Hi, anyone familiar installing 3rd party widgets in Weebly. Please help me because I installed few widgets on my Weebly site. It works for few days then suddenly all of them stop working (these are slideshows). I dont know if it is caused by a conflict in jQuery which Weebly made a version of 1.7.2 by default. This problem occurs in my site and all the sites I've installed it so there must be chance that the change happen in Weebly itself. Here are the links:

I appreciate any answer. Thank You so much.

I think you're in the wrong forum. This has nothing to do with the MODX CMS.

I just registered and ask this question because I read one article here in General Discussion which is related to my topic above. I'm just hoping someone could answer my question.

Anyway, sorry for posting in wrong forum. Thank You still.

Well, it's kind of hard to answer a question about a system that most of us (or at least I) have probably never even heard of, that involves yet another application (the JQuery slideshow plugin) that we don't even know what it is.

That said, a quick look at an error console indicates something is definitely wrong - and the ping to Facebook is failing as well.

Thank You so much, I'm willing to search for another solution to those errors above. Thank you.

You might want to do something about these validation errors. It usually pays to take care of HTML errors when your js or css is behaving strangely.

                jQuery UI plugin jQCarousel v1.1.5.
                Copyright (C) 2012 Minko Gechev, http://mgechev.com/, @mgechev

It looks like the JQuery UI core library is not installed.

                jquery.js loads jQuery v1.10.2.

See the jqcarousel demo page http://carousel.mgechev.com/

I just cant believe that Weebly Supports don't even have a direct solution for this. I'm just expecting they know and are prepared for this issues because they are the template Maker.

Well, on a copy of the carousel.mgechev.com demo page, JQuery 1.7.2 and JQuery 1.8.3 work, but JQuery 1.10.2 does not work.

Further examination of your site shows that it's loading different versions of JQuery. This seldom, if ever, works well.

Beyond this, the whole thing is such a mess that I can't see anything further that might be the problem.

Just to see what it's like, I signed up for a free account. My mother always said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Actually, I'm just speechless.

I wish you the best of luck, and if you ever decide to build a real website, we'll be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have on working with MODX.
