if its "ready" for MODX ?

i would like to test if there are any sql timeouts set or so. (because of troubles)

The installer does a simple test to see if the server (database, php and file permissions) is ready for MODx. I don’t think it tests for timeouts. There is work underway to include additional checks to the installer, but I don’t think timeouts will be addressed.

What troubles are you having with timeouts? It may be a simple fix by modifying the my.conf or the php.ini files on your server (if you have these permissions).

yea, i won’t start that thing in this post again but
im creating a page for someone. i installed modx and it worked, no problem.
since sone weeks it doesn’t load the whole manager contents.
example: i want to create a new document, klick, doesnt load the whole fields so i have to klick it again ... and again... till it loads.

same thing with config or when i change the editor to tinyMCE (while editing a document) for ex.

i think thats some kind of timeout in the database and i have no rights to change that.
i wrote to the provider but... yea... i will tell my client to change providers.
