Is there a trick to enabling system events for plugins?

When I go to a plugin, select the system events tab and then tick the event I want, and then save it. Nothing happens.

    Anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks

That is how you enable system events. What do you mean by "nothing happens"? Does it not save with the system event checked? Or does the plugin not work?

I press Save, but it doesn't save. I get the Please wait message and graphic, but when that disappears nothing has happened. The box still shows as ticked, but if I reload the screen it's then not ticked.

        IE it hasn't saved.

Is this a new installation of MODX? Have you successfully worked with plugins before this on the same installation?

Sounds like something didn't get installed correctly. Try re-installing.
