I've been searching everywhere for info related to installing the Revo InheritTemplate extra as I would like to select which template to use for child resource but I have been unable to locate any details about the install process.
How do I setup InheritTemplate

It looks like you need to edit the InheritTpl TV, and assign it to all the templates where you want the TV to appear. Then you can edit the parent resource and in the InheritTpl TV select the template you want its children to have.
This will not change any existing child resources, and it only works for one level - grandchildren appear to get the site default template.
